Ways to sign inโ€‹

  • Email + password โ€” the standard way.
  • Sign in with Google โ€” one click, if your Google email matches your ZAPTIZ account.
  • Sign in with Zoho โ€” same idea, for Zoho accounts.

If your admin has made multi-factor authentication (MFA) mandatory, or you enabled it yourself in Personal Settings, you'll confirm a second factor after the password.

One session at a timeโ€‹

ZAPTIZ allows one active session per user. Signing in on a second device or browser signs the first one out โ€” the older session sees a "signed in elsewhere" notice and returns to the login page.

Why?

One-session-per-user prevents shared logins and keeps an audit trail honest โ€” every action traces to one person on one device. If you and a colleague keep signing each other out, you each need your own account (ask your admin to invite them).

Sign-in alertsโ€‹

When your account signs in from a new IP address, ZAPTIZ emails you an alert. If it was you โ€” nothing to do. If it wasn't, change your password immediately (Personal Settings โ†’ Security) and tell your admin.

Secure by designโ€‹

Your session is kept in secure, HttpOnly browser cookies โ€” scripts on the page can't read your credentials, and closing the tab doesn't log you out. Use Sign out (under your avatar) on shared machines.

Forgot your password?โ€‹

Use the Forgot password link on the login page and follow the emailed instructions. If you joined via an invitation and never finished setup, ask your admin to re-send the invitation instead.

Trouble signing in?โ€‹

See Troubleshooting โ€” the most common causes (expired OTP, session replaced, wrong Google account) are covered there.
