The boardโ€‹

Eight columns: New Lead โ†’ Contacted โ†’ Qualified โ†’ Quotation Sent โ†’ Negotiation โ†’ Won, plus Lost and Dropped. Each column header shows its count and total value; each card shows the deal title, company, estimated value, source, a probability bar, and the owner.

KPIs across the top: Active Leads ยท Open Pipeline ยท Weighted Forecast (value ร— probability across open stages) ยท Won Value.

Creating a leadโ€‹

Click New Lead (or the dashed Add lead button at the bottom of any column):

  • Lead Title * โ€” e.g. "LT Panel Supply โ€” Reliance Infra" (the only required field).
  • Company, contact, estimated value (โ‚น), source (Referral, Website, Cold Call, Exhibition, Tender, Social Media, Other) and notes.

Converting a lead to a quotationโ€‹

Click Convert to Quotation on any open card. In one step, ZAPTIZ:

  1. Resolves the customer โ€” using the lead's linked customer, or creating a new customer from the lead's company/contact details.
  2. Creates a draft quotation linked back to the lead.
  3. Marks the lead Won.

You'll get a toast with an Open Quotations shortcut.

The draft has no line items yet

Conversion creates the shell โ€” open it in Quotations and add line items before confirming. Also note conversion is one-shot: a lead can only ever be converted once.

Keeping the pipeline honestโ€‹

  • Leads that go quiet are picked up by the Follow-up Agent, which drafts escalating chase emails for your approval.
  • The Sales Dashboard shows a 5-column mini-pipeline of this same board.
