Daily Briefing

Where: Company โ†’ Daily Briefing (Company Admins only).

Your morning coffee summary. The agent gathers sales, cash, purchase and production numbers, flags anything unusual, and writes a plain-English brief โ€” so you start the day already knowing what matters.

What's in a briefโ€‹

  • A headline and a 2โ€“4 sentence summary.
  • KPI snapshot โ€” Revenue (MTD), Receivables, Active jobs, Low-stock items.
  • Trend chips โ€” Sales month-over-month, Cash MoM, Output week-over-week, with โ–ฒ/โ–ผ arrows.
  • "Needs your attention" โ€” flagged items with severity (Critical / Warning / Info), each with an Open โ†’ deep link into the app and an Ask AI button that opens the chat pre-filled with a deeper question (you review it before sending โ€” it's never auto-sent).
  • Sections you choose: Sales & pipeline, Cash & collections, Receivables, Production, Purchasing, Inventory.

The footer shows when it was generated and the AI credits it used.

Setting it upโ€‹

Open Preferences first:

  1. Switch the agent on.
  2. Tick the sections you care about (fewer sections = shorter brief = fewer credits).
  3. Write a Tone & focus note โ€” e.g. "Keep it very short. Call out cash risks first." It genuinely works.
  4. Set the send hour for scheduled delivery, and toggle Email the brief and Push notification.

Generating & historyโ€‹

  • The brief generates automatically every day at your chosen hour, delivered to the roles you selected.
  • Generate today's brief / Regenerate runs one on demand โ€” it writes in the background, so you can leave the page and come back.
  • The History tab keeps every past brief (with an "Auto" pill on scheduled ones); click any card to re-read it.

Safetyโ€‹

The briefing is read-only โ€” it observes and reports, changing nothing in your ERP. The raw numbers it was written from are stored alongside each brief for transparency.
