| Button | What actually happens |
|---|---|
| Mark Dispatched | The big one: finished goods leave stock, the dispatch time is stamped, the linked sales order becomes Shipped, and the job is completed. |
| Mark Delivered | Stamps the delivery time and updates the sales order. |
| Create Invoice | Available once Dispatched/Delivered โ generates the customer invoice from this delivery ("delivery-based billing"). A link takes you to Invoices. |
Print or email the delivery note from each row using your templates.
Tips & gotchasโ
- A manual job with no sales order can never be dispatched. Create jobs "From Sales Order" when they're for a customer.
- Don't complete jobs by hand before dispatching โ Mark Dispatched completes the job for you, and doing both muddles the paperwork trail.
- Stock-out happens once, on first dispatch โ marking Delivered later never double-deducts.
